Importing Accounts: Telegram Growth Guide
How to add Telegram accounts using supported session formats and verify them before tasks.
Account import brings working Telegram sessions into the platform and prepares them for tasks. Check the files, format, and source before uploading so that fewer accounts are skipped.
Prepare the source files
The platform accepts single files, archives, and folders with sessions. Group accounts into clear batches before importing so you can quickly assign categories and proxies afterward.
- For Telethon, use .session files and related metadata files when available.
- For TDesktop, import a valid .tdata folder without unnecessary nested directories.
- Archives should contain sessions directly or in a clear structure without corrupted files.
Start the import
On the accounts page, choose the upload method. Files and archives start a background task, so the modal may close immediately and progress will be available in Tasks.
- Do not close the file picker flow before the import start is confirmed.
- If import runs as a task, open the task details and wait for the final status.
- Skipped accounts are usually caused by duplicates, broken sessions, or unsupported formats.
Review the result
After import, open the accounts table and review statuses. Assign proxies and categories before running tasks, and make sure accounts do not require re-authorization.
- Filter new accounts and check their status.
- Assign proxies before running bulk tasks.
- Open the account log if a status looks unexpected.
