First Story Tagging Campaign: Telegram Growth Guide

A checklist for launching a story with an offer: audience, unrestricted accounts, proxies, moderate pace, and result review.

Story tagging attracts attention from selected audiences. The user sees a mention, opens the story, and can move to your profile, channel, chat, or offer.

Prepare story and audience

The story should explain the offer and next step quickly. The audience should match the topic.

  • Prepare a story with a clear offer.
  • Make the next action obvious.
  • Choose a relevant audience.
  • Check audience size before launch.

Configure a safe launch

Being able to post a story does not guarantee that mentions will be delivered reliably.

  • Choose accounts without restrictions.
  • Check proxies on selected accounts.
  • Configure mentions per story.
  • Use moderate pace for the first run.

Review the result

After launch, watch progress in Tasks and review errors after completion.

  • Open logs for repeated errors.
  • Compare successful mentions with audience response.
  • Change one variable at a time: audience, story, pace, or accounts.

Improve the next launch

After completion, look beyond completed mentions. It is more important to understand visits, subscriptions, leads, errors, and signs of weak audience quality.

  • If response is weak, review the offer and CTA in the story.
  • If errors are high, exclude weak accounts and check proxies.
  • If the audience does not react, test another segment.
  • Do not increase volume until the cause of the result is clear.
